Welcome to iBC Online Community.

Iford Baptist Church is a small church with a BIG heart and a growing vision built on the banks of the river Stour. It has been around since the mid 1930's, but with a fairly new church building which has just celebrated it 10th birthday, a growing congregation, and a heart for the local & online community, the church, like this website is a work in progress - a bit like life really!

Our services are varied touching all age groups within the community and details of services can be found on the calendar - please make sure you select 'services' or 'all' in the list at the botton of the calendar to view all available entries. The website will shortly be updated with a list of church activities which will be linkable from here.

August is a time when we get many vists in person from holiday makers in the area and it is always great to meet you and hear your testimonies of how God is moving in your town and church. You can find directions to the church here, or just do a serach from Google as its maps section usually hits the church address spot on!

united we stand, divided we fall - working together for good.iBC is a praying church so we have quite a few missionary prayer letters on our site which are encouraging reading so do take a moment to look there and catch up on what is going on with those working for the Lord abroad.

As you surf these pages and the site we hope that you will feel at home and pop on the Guestbook to leave us a note. The site, like the church, is destined to grow and mature and we pray that we may encourage you in your daily walk with God!

The Need to Read ~ The Fuel for Prayer!

It is great that there are so many article coming into the iBC website nowadays - especially those that are related to our Missionaries because they need our prayers. We can only effectively pray when we have fuel for prayer. One missionary recently wrote to the church saying "Wow! Thanks for all you do and for what you put on the website - it looks great and we know you are praying for us; we really need your prayers" - or words to that effect. (see Christine and Wolfram Quiring's July Update above ...) It is important that we remember these people in our prayers.

Well, as you can see there is a lot of reading and browsing to do so I will leave you to it and hope that as you read, you will be uplifted and blessed to see and hear what people are doing. It may bring you up closer to God and if you get the chance: why not say a prayer for the Pastor, the Leaders, and the church at Iford, not forgetting again, those who are working in the field for Him.

As new articles are written and added to the Website the New Horizons will be updated but some of the older articles that might be missed will be left on here or amended so as not to be missed... some are real gems.

Many Thanks - God Bless you as you surf the Website and His Word.
